    back again. 1200.1 question...

    hey guys i haven't posted here in months.....i had stuff with my license(tickets etc) im sure you understand so i can't go for the loudest system ever like i wanted too before, i grew up a little bit...anyways im going to the the edesigns 15" k series, with the a jbl 1200.1 should i go the dual 4 ohms or dual 2 ohms, and if you guys could save me some time by tellin me again the cheapest site for the 1200.1 cause ive shopped around before but i can't remember, thats for anyone that helps

    DVC 4 ohm, wire it in parallel for a 2 ohm load. BTW, why don't you get a JBL 600.1 instead of a 1200.1? Look on www.ikesound.com, www.etronics.com, ebay. If you got a 1200.1, you wouldn't be able to use the full 1200 watts on that sub, why not just save some money and get the 600.1.

    Oh, get the DVC 2 ohm, wire em like this, 2 ohm load, ~600 watts/sub.

    I have that exact setup. Two 15 Ks. Dual 2 Ohm configuration. THe amp (JBL 1200.1) is seeing a 2 ohm load. Subs are in a 2.95 cube enclosure @25 hz. It pounds, nice and hard, while still maintaining sq.
