Descent size box for ONE AUdiobahn 12" AW1208q Sub.?

I have a 12" Audiobahn AW1208q Flame sub that is going to be powered by a JBL 1200.1 amp..
What is a good size SEALED box for this Sub? Would a 1.00 cu. ft. box be too small or should i go bigger...Trunk space for one sub is not too much of a problem so i can go bigger.
I also know that bandpass boxes are usually the way to go in thios case but i want the sealed..

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Chris

3.5 - 5 cubic feet ported. tuned around 32-42hz should do just fine.

it won't hit as hard in a sealed box, but it will have a lot more sound quality.

if you're going sealed, i'd go with 1.25-1.5cuft with a lot of poly fill so you can get the low end **** that will rattle your teeth.

Well, what I meant by it will sound like *** was that those subs are designed mainly for SPL, not much SQ, so porting the sub will take advantage of the subs strong point. Lone Ranger is the Audiobahn man around here, he knows his ****.

yeah..i have N02 so im trying to save space, but any sealed box will work..I listen to mainly rock/alternative..also, rap, r&b too..so its for a variety of music..i do not need the really hard hits..
I might try to sell the audiobahn and get like one type-r, only because they do not need so many watts to sound good..My car has a low amp output so it would save me the money of going to get it rewound if i got a type r..also i could get a very good amp for the type r seeing its like 300 watts rms.

    any opinions?

    Chris
