    Poly fiberfill in ported box?

Should you use poly fiberfill in a ported sub box?

generally polyfil is meant to "fool" the woofer into making it think its in a larger enclosure. Personally, I am fully against it. Polyfil is merely a band-aid for an enclosure not built to the correct size. I have yet to hear any audible difference or advantage in enclosures with or without the fill, so I would encourage you not to use it.

    take it easy,

i dont think that the fillings will do good in a ported enclosure...
but a sealed one.. maybe its gonna be alright (i think)... coz i opened a 12" pioneer subwoofer box of my grand dad...(hehehe, its very very old box) and its filled with poly fiberfill about 1" on all walls.
but i really dont know if they still recomend that during this time.

    Nobody screams more treble..
