    Mtx And Fosgate

    I HAVE A FORD EXPLORER.WHAT WOULD BE LOUDER??? 2 PUNCH HX2 12'S WITH A PUNCH 800.2 AMP OR 3 10 INCH MTX THUNDER 6000'S WITH 600 WATT AMP?? THEY COME OUT TO BE ABOUT THE SAME PRICE.

    With that setup, the HX2s are the better choice. I would recomend two MTX 8000s over 3 6000s.

    i agree with rangerman i hve 2 hx2s and they bump pretty dam good but 2 12's i think would be better the 10's will give you a cleaner sound. if you do end up goin with the mtx at least upgrade to the 8000.

    wiring fockford

    I have a question. I have just bought one 12" rfr 3112(power hx2) It has 2 2ohm voice coils. now my question is, how do i wire them for 2 ohms???
    I was told you cant wire them for two ohms. only 1ohm or 4ohms. I bought the rockford bd1000.1 amp to power the sub. it gives off 500 watts at 4ohms but i want to give them the 1000watts the amp gives at 2 ohms.

    2 12"s, you'll not be disappointed if you hit the right enclosure for that... its gonna rock.. RF, MTX both good brands, you'll not regret getting either of the two <--(my opinion)
