    IDMAX 12" vs. Brahma 12"

    Hey fellas,

Chalked up another possible sub for the system..

    IDMAX 12"
    Brahma 12"

I'm looking for a SQL system, as Corsica calls it "A sound quality system with BALLS"....which would you choose, and why.

IDMAX is 450 retail, but I can get it for like 300.
    Brahma is 360 I believe

    Opinions anybody?

    Help a brother out, lol

tough choice.....i dont know alot about the idmax....however i originally thought the brahma was a spl oriented sub......but after being corrected by jlaine i found out that it is a sq sub designed to have massive output.......so i'd say brahma.....

Oh yeah, I forgot to add...

If you haven't already known, I listen to Metal. And some Techno stuff, old school rap, ect..

Would each be able to hold its ground and keep up with the extreme pace?

IDMax is considered the step down from a Brahma.

Is this not a reasonable place to park?

I think there's a great deal of people that haven't had direct experience with them side by side. If you asked me, I'd say Brahma because of pure Xmax.

Ranger your killing me, but personally, the IDMAX would be my choice because it is a **** good sub and built really well and can get **** loud (not that the Brahma can't) but I personally like the sound of the IDMAX
