    Audiobahn rates better than RE

What sub tunes well to 40HZ....About what price do RE HCs normally go for? So far only Power Aucstik and SPL have a sub built for SPL that can be tuned to 40HZ. Anyone know different. I bet Audiobahn could take just about any sub out there. Prove me wrong. Personal opinions mean nothing to me.

I think you might take some heat for that one. It is true that Audiobahns are great for SPL when tuned right and in the right size enclosure, but I know there are many subs that people feel are better.

Well, at dB Drag, Team Audiobahn hit 174.1 in Extreme 1-2, not too bad, but I guess they can't hang with anyone even though they did that, right?

Why? Whos to say which sub is the best. Its all opinion. Just because a few people like a certain sub doesn't make that sub the best. Everyone has a preference, but I just want an open answer to my question. Is there a sub that tunes well to 40HZ. Every question that I have asked only leads to the same subs for answers. Some of these subs are only sold in few locations. If you know car audio then answer my question. LOL but I just want a honest answer not a bias one. Keep it real.

First off, when you say stuff like "XXXXXX brand is better than everything else" you sound uneducated and stupid. Please save all stupidity for your own personal time, and refrain from exposing us to it. Secondly, as most people who frequent this forum know, Audiobahn is my personal favorite brand, but I won't say they will hang with anything. I own a Shocker Extreme II that blows that theory all to ****.

Secondly, any sub out there can play 40hz very loud. It's not the sub you're tuning....it's the box. The FS of a sub isn't the frequency it plays loudest, if that's what you're thinking. If you want your box to peak at 40hz exactly, tune it to either 35 or 36 and it should peak around there. If you have ready access to audiobahn subs and can get them for a good price, i say go for it. They're SPL monsters and are more than enough for most bass heads

Now, if you want something that will hang with the big dogs, go get yourself a Shocker

Uneducated? Come on! So far no one has proven anything. Like I said, not matter what anyone says it is impossible to prove what sub is the best. There are too many factors in it all. It is possible for any car audio set-up to win in comps no matter what speaker or amp is used. If that wasn't true then everyone would have the same thing. For the record I said what I said because I knew it would get a response. Whenever I just ask a question I get one or two responses. So I decided to strike a nerve.

Everyone has good and bad experiences with every brand of everything, not only car audio. People may trash some companies because they blew a sub or fried an amp, but it was probably their own fault. I know people who have ripped on companies(not gonna say which one), because they ran an amp at I believe .75 ohms when it wasnt even 1 ohm stable, you cant blame the company for that. The only thing that you will get on here is personal opinion, but if you are happy with what you have, no one will be able to affect the way you feel about your own personal preferences.

well how is this.....if audiobahn is so great then why are they never n the top spl rankings with dd, shocker etc....same with sq....most audiobahn vehicles you see in magazines are demo cars....usually for a shop or for the company itself.... i have seen one serious spl audiobahn loaded vehicle.....and the others were still above...

I could throw a bunch of numbers and specs at you, but you would not know what to do with them...
