    Icon10 Infinity 1242 Sale - Should I do it?

Desperate for deep bass, with decent SQ. A good site has a two for one offer, buy one Reference 12" 1242 DVC sub, get one free.

    $100 total.

Anything else out there that's better bang for the buck?

Re: Infinity 1242 Sale - Should I do it?

absolutely not... i am honest to get throwing an mtx 1501d at one of these, and they take it! obviously i'm smart with it but i've never seen such a cheap sub sound so good and get so deep.

whoa, that is a deal. You know, I found out it is better to spend the money instead of saving (because you will get screwed eventually), but hell, I do not have anything against the Crutchfield deal...

    Precisely... (insert your line here)

I say the Kappa Perfects, but you may want to look at the Ascendant Audio Assassin 12"s too, same price for two of 'em.
