Icon32 jl w3 12's behind the seat of my truck... will that fit??

in the future i am going to get 2 jl w3's. the only problem i think i will have is putting them in a truck box. i would like to put them in a q-logic box, but im not sure if it will fit.i dont think it will take up alot of space i have a 95 ford f150 and it doesnt have much space behind the seat. i did have a high excursion audiobahn 12 behind the seat and it took up all my space and leg room do u think i will need a big box like my old audiobahn. and will i have to fabricate my own box for th 2 w3's to go in my truck?

I'd say we need some dimensions before giving you any help here. dimensions, even pics of your truck is what I mean. go to jlaudio.com or whatever it is and find the mounting depths, excursion, recommended volume, etc. of the subwoofers. if that doesn't help, come back with the truck dimensions and someone will help out.

Well, if I can fing 4 cubes in a Ranger, you can fit some JLs in an F150 with no problem...all depending on how tall you are...

    i got a jl12w6v2 to fit

I have a 2000 F150 single cab, and i got a 12w6v2 to fit behind the seat. I only lost about 6 inches in legroom.(about 4 clicks on the seat) so i still have plenty of legroom. i had to get a $250 box though. i dunno how the 95's are, but the 2000's have a lip in the back that you can only see if you take down the carpet. if you get a box that goes deeper in that area, you can get another 2 inches of mounting depth.

im pretty tall so im told. 71 1/2 inches according to the military. the 97 ford onup have lots of behind the seat room. i know a guy with 2 15 high excursion upgrades behind his seat and its comfortable amount of space in his truck.

yea u should be able to fit the subs behing the seat..Yet again space is going to be VERY limited and I wouldnt expect max performance out of the subs..But the w3s are known for working in rather low-airspaced enclosures..but I would go with a good sealed box,,,hmmm just guessing a single chambered one! But the q-logic box may prove effective, if it doesnt always go with a custom one
