    shut up idiot

first off yeah put ******* comments like that in the flame forum.
    b) you cannot know the quality of jl products, they make some of the best stuff out there, and have one of the most vesitle line of high end products. You want to attack the fact that they are prices, go right ahead, being a jl supporter i would argue that its worth it. Be aware that their most overpriced product (the new w7) although itself might not seem worth it, they are paying for the patients on something like 10 new technologies!! new means undeveloped, and high priced, they are doing the audio bussiness a favor and advancing it. and yeah, im a jl owner, in fact almost all of my system is jl right now, although i have used a lot of different equipment (most of which better values).

Don't like the product, don't buy it...

    Seems elementary to me.

What past experiences have you had with JL Audio? What products have you owned that you did not like?

Me personally...I dont really like the W0's and W3's. I know people have them and they are running strong...but Ive seen more than a few blow up.

I'm not really a JL supporter, nor hater.

People may say: "The W7 is soooo over rated". Well, then you probably havent heard one have you? They would have to be one of my favourite subs. Sure they are expensive, but they deliver a lot of sound quality and they can get really loud. They have decent power handling and some people even like the way they look

i bet if JL had released the W7 without telling anyone the retail price, people would be praising the sub like its god (some do though).

personally, i think the W0 line is overrated. i'm using my friend's pioneer VCCS model subs right now and they took more beating than the 12" W0 he had before. it does get VERY low (for a 10" anyways). i'm running them hard without a subsonic filter (they're in a ported box tuned to 30hz) and they haven't smoked or anything yet. personally, for the price of the W0, i'd get something else. i like the W3 and up though.

there are many debates on brahma and the W7. as far as sound quaity goes, some say the W7 has an edge. if i had the money to buy the W7, i'd get the brahma myself, knowing that the sound quality is up there (which is good enough for me) and save about $300 or so. its all personal preference. JL is a good company. they have set many standards.

Hello GSteg it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?
