    Subwoofer Direction?

Might sound like a noob question but hey im not great with audio, but would the direction of the sub make a difference in sound (im sure it will), if so which is best?

Sub facing towards roof, Sub facing towards wheel, Sub facing towards a side door?

    Re: Subwoofer Direction?

    It is entirely vehicle dependant.

However, generally sub up and port back for an SUV is the loudest (again it may vary in your vehicle.) And subs and port facing the rear for a trunk.

    Re: Subwoofer Direction?

this is my setup before i move it

    http://s56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...tenighttip.flv

and now instead of that i put the sub facing hack into the rear seat folded up with the port on the bottom side of it so the air bounces back and forth and is kinda trapped..... tried it with it on top not as good

To 'break it in' you should 'let it loose'

break in period is a myth...
