some Second Skin Spectrum Cliarification

I have been getting emails from some of you (some real nasty email too) about the cost of Second Skin Spectrum.
Some people think I have priced the material too high.
I am posting this thread for all to understand the material a bit better, and help justify the cost.

Spectrum is not a damper like dynamat, brown bread or Rammat.
Spectrum is a composite.
If you want a damper such as Dynamat extreme, but don’t want to pay the high prices, I suggest Second Skin Damplifier.
When compared to similar products on the market, SPECTRUM costs HALF as much.
Plus it is self adhesive, unlike many composites out there.
This is the cheapest composite you will find, and quite frankly one of the best.
It dampens, absorbs, reflects, transfers heat, and provided a barrier.
This is why I call it Spectrum. It handles the entire spectrum of sound deadening materials from all angles.

If you don’t want to buy the product that’s ok, but please do not send me nasty emails about my products and my company. (You know who you are)

I thought 50 bucks for 50 sq ft of deadener was expensive (according to my budget), so how much does this Spectrum composite cost?

damplifier is $50 for 50 feet, and thats abou the cheapest stuff around. Dynamat extreme is $249 (msrp) and about #129 on the net for 36 feet

The BETA test price I am offering is $3.00 psf.
the normal price will range between $3.50-$4.25 psf
still, half of the competitions price

full price is gonna be $175 minimum for 50sq ft. What competition are you talking about? Could you list some other brands of this composite material please? I'd like to check it out

check out b-quiet. they make a composite that Is quite a bit less than spectrum (in terms of quality). and with a sale they have on it, its priced about the same.
the better stuff they carry is closer in quality to Spectrum. thats called L-comp
but it has no adhesive on it. should be a good product.

dynamat also makes composites but are a lot of cash.

no body (that I kow of) makes a composite like Spectrum.
rarley do you find one that is adhesive.
ther are lots of good products out there, so what ever you choose I am sure you will be happy.If you need any questions answered let me know
