    Amp For 2 Mtx Blue Thunder 12"s?

    One of my friends has 2 Mtx Blue Thunder 12"s in a ported box & he has a Mtx 250X amp on them right now & he want a bigger amp, but were not sure what to get for them, I think the subs Max at 500watts each & 250 watts Rms each, but were not sure, please help...

    my friend has those subs and he has alpine v12 with them and it sounds insane!! but rockford 500.2 will pound those subs like a punching bag.. rockford 350s is good with that too!! 350s is actually 400-500 rms watts.... i got two for sale..

    oh one of my friend is selling the same alpine amp... model number is mrv-t757... it's the V-12 series 750 watts it says.. the list price for this amp is $480.. in sounddomain is cost $339... i think he's selling is less than 200... let me know if ur interested so i'll ask him..
    this amp is a very good combination with mtx blue thunder... my friend has 3-10's with this amp and i can hear and feel the bass a block away

    all u must hear is the trunk rattles then b/c blue thunder isnt the greatest

    it doesnt have any rattle at all with no dynamat or anything.. its one of the cleanest bass i've ever heard... and you said blue thunder isn't the greatest, well it's the only sub MTX have that won the iasca competition.. it gives out alot of air... have u heard of one?

    I think if I had to own any MTX sub it would be the blue thunder. Very potent sub, I don't like MTX subs but I like the Blue Thunder.

    AMEN!!! i dont like mtx either, just the blue thunder... too bad they dont make it nomore, because if they still do, without a doubt thats the sub i would get...

    Yea, the Thunder 4000's are just terrible, they have no excursion at all, and the sound is bleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh bad.
