I've had my 2 12" 06' alpine R's for awhile now and want to try something new.
I'm running a viper1200.
I really like the 2006 L7 15" and also like the SX 15 to run off same amp. Would this be much of an upgrade, or would I be wasting my time?

I wouldn't use both of them at the same time, no...
What's your budget?
im sorry i think i worded that wrong. i meant to say i want to run the viper1200 amp, and i was looking at the 06 L7 15 and also looking at the SX 15. dont really have a budget open to all idears.
didnt know if going from 2 medium 12's to 1 good 15 would be much of an upgrade. i just want to go louder, and it's going in the trunk of a 2000 bonneville.

and I might as well suggest the mag since someone else eventually will. But keep in mind 1200w is 1200w so unless you upgrade you amps the diff in sound will not be much.

Front speakers: Diamond D6 comp
Rear speakers: Diamond D6 coax
Speaker amp: Alpine 100x4
Subs: 2 12' Diamond D9s
Amps: 2 Diamond D61000.1; one on each sub
if you have two R's already get another of the same amp. give them each 3 cubes net
My left ear rings. I am retired.
Wouldn't be much of an upgrade at all. The Rs are just as capable as the others.

Try one of the new ones from TC sounds.... or one of the Aura Neo subs![]()

That is partly correct. 1200watts will only get so loud given the amount of space you have to work with and the efficiency of the drivers. But 1200watts to subs that are more efficient will get louder than when using less efficient subs.Originally Posted by ryanbssc29
