    will this hurt the spekers?

    my friend has got the 6.5 inch polk momos componet set and he hasnt builthis kick panels for them yet so hes got them laying in the back seat, that wont mess them up will it??? b/c i know on sum subs thatif u free air them they mess up, so do yall think that will mess them up????

    u mean just sitting there without anything or are they mounted to the rear deck?

    yup. i had my CDT audio laying around. i know it wasn't good, but i just had to listen to something. didn't have time to build kicks yet. although it COULD have putted them in stock location, i was lazy. yup. i'm lazy

    bottom line, do it the right way the first time.

    yea they are just laying up against the seat, they aint mounted or anything, he's had them that way for a lil while now, i got confused on what yall was saying it will or wont mess it the speakers up??

    Well I wouldn't set those speakers in the back to begin with, just because they could roll off the seat onto the floor or something. But when you put the speakers in your door, they're not air tight, so I'm not sure how it would damage it to listen to them not in the doors? I mean, I wouldn't do it for that long, maybe just until he can put them in.
