Shivas aren't really SPL subs...I would say

    Brahma, XXX or RFL

I don't know about Shvas for SPL

Brahma: A GREAT SPL sub IF you know what you wanna do with it
XXX: A bit louder that the Brahma and easier to tweak for SPL
SP: Don't know...never heard it to date...
RFL: You don't want that in your car...strictly Competition grade
Blueprint: I have not messed w/ one enough to give you an honest opinion

    Now lets expand the horizon:
Shocker Sigs, IIIs, and Extremes: Shocker makes some of the best SPL woofers around...hard to go wrong with a Shocker

MMATS Juggy: Just plain gets loud, but a bit expensive

Treo and Kove make some good SPLers

And you have Digital Designs (who are a painin the *** to deal w/)

All of the above except Blueprint...not sure on the XXX, but it wins local comps...and in my testing was about 1 dB louder than the Brahma.

shiva and blueprints don't stand a chance against the rest..

The HCCA (if that is the Orion you are talking of) is great...the others are not so well for SPL.

nothing's happened... its just a decent woofer... it's not amazing, its not the cure for cancer.. being in the position Im in.. I've gotten the chance to demo and testing bunches of subs.. and the inhuman is midpack from my experience. I also know the design, and all the background on the woofer... so I see no reason to pay Don's price, when there are other woofers for MUCH cheaper.. that do as much as his do.. **cough HC cough**
