Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to take a look. For awhile I have just been reading the posts on this site and not actually posting anything, but now I am back...
and I need YOUR help.
I am taking a class called mentorship in which I determine a career field I am interested in and find a mentor in that field. I just mentored with my dad for a variety of reason but we are faced with a little problem...
In about two or three weeks we have to give presentations to about 20 other students that last anywhere from 25 minutes to 45 minutes. As you probably guessed these people will know basically NOTHING about audio. I don't what approach to take with them.
I have a lot of freedom in this presentation and it can cover basically any topic of my choice. But I could spend two hours on just what sound is and how our body interpretes it. I could spend several hours more explaining the fundamentals of electricity and the components that utilize it. I could explain the different components of audio (here is a speaker....here is an amp..).
Any advice or reccomendations? I want to make it interesting and on some level interactive (I am going to bring lots of cables, and comparisons (here is a stock speaker....here is a Infinity speaker).
I would greatly appreciate your help. If you want to email me my address is brotherkane@popmail.com or atbandxt@popmail.com
