Which subs for...

My friend just bought a kicker kx600.1 and needs some subs. He wants 2 12's that can handle 350-400rms. The birth sheet on his amp says it has 730 watts, i dont know if that is max or if it is the rms at 2 ohms. he wants mainly SQ but wants a decent amount of SPL. he has a 92 Grand Prix and will probably be putting them in between a .88-1.25 ft^3 box depending on the subs. money is not too tight, so anything is possible

The Infinity Kappa Perfects have great SQ and pretty good SPL for around $180/sub. They're rms power is around 375 so it would be a really good fit for the amp.

he was looking into the perfects, right now he has all infinity speakers inside, so it would go with the name i guess. as for the rms, i figured that it was rms @ 2 ohms, just wanted to double check. thanks for the info, any more opinions are welcome too. he won't be ordering these for another week or two

as for those perfects, it says to put them in 1ft^3 sealed, would it be alright to put them in a 1.25ft^3 with that power?

Yep...usually it's fine, if not better, to add a little room. Just make sure you don't take space away, then your screwed
