When I don't have CA glue available, I personally use 5minute 2part epoxy... if this is your first recone you might want to get 15minute epoxy. Gives you a little more work time with it.

May be a old thread but I thought I would put my 2 cents in..

When I'm fixing a surround or spider I usually use the 60 second 2 part epoxy you buy at walmart for like $3. It works well and I haven't had any problems with it yet. :)

superglue=CA.......thin CA to be exact.... cyanoacrylate (?spelling) comes in different viscosity/speed, found at any hobby/model shop... but, you don't want thin ca anyways...
