RE Mt Vs. Tc sounds 3hp/Mt Soft parts Vote!

Wich do you think can get louder and lower (lookin for SPL)

The TC 3hp has MT soft parts

Both will be gettin 2000w rms

i have this sub (FTW) and ur right about the weaker motor...... it allows for better ventilation of the mt parts......but seems to bottom out easier.... would the bottoming out be as a result of clipped signal?

it would be a result of too much power in that particular enclosure; whether that power is related to a clipped signal is hard for me to say, but it is entirely possible.

i vote MT for known performance, and 3hp for obscurity. i guess that means it's a draw and it's up to you to choose

I have both a 18 4hp and a 18 MT ......and from my testing on the meter in my Jeep, the 4hp gets louder than the MT ......and in half the space.
