Do speakers need to be broken in

just subs need to be broke in i think its about 40 hours

I have never broken anything in besides subs. And all I do when breaking in subs is mount them in a baffle across a trash can. And play some tones through them for about half an hour.

Speakers arent the same way subs are...That doesnt mean blair the living bejesus out of them out of the box, but you could say 2 or 3 days of listening them instead of the 1-2 weeks like subs are...

i runn speakers full range for about 1 week to loosen up the spider and surround and subs i give a good floging after 3 hours of 50 hz tones through a home stereo with low pass the coil stays cold but the amp gets as hot as christ
