you owuld wire the positives to each toehr, and the negs to each other, and then teh wire from teh positive to the pos. terminal on teh amp and neg to neg..
so basically 2 wires, one going pos-pos-amp pos the other neg-neg-amp neg

how many subs do you ahve?
    a single 4 ohm DVC?
    2 4 ohm DVC's?
my method with a singe 4 ohm DVC sub, will yield a final load of 2 ohms on teh amp...
    it is called parallel...
now, wiring two DVC 4 ohm subs liek that woujld actually yield a 1 ohm laod on the amp...
this will cause your JBL to get quite warm, i am warning you now...
series parallel, what eardrummin is referring to would have you wiring your subs positive on on coild to negative ont eh other, then to the amp and vice versa....
this on a single 4 ohm DVC sub will give you an 8 ohm load..
you cna then take taht wiring and wire it again in parallel to ge ta 4 ohm load..
with dual 4's, you can get 1 ohm, 8 ohms, 16 ohms, i believe...
go to rockfordfosgate.com, go to RF tech, tehn the wiring wizard...

hey jackass yes eardrummin don't take shots at someone who just said series parallel isn't used as much as parallel. just b/c you have no idea how to do it or what ohm load it will yield. oh and i know i'm prolly throwing gas on the fire as nismo said in another thread but dont' take shots at someone you won't get shots taken back.
