1000 rms per subwoofer 2000 watts max. i would say get a couple of 1000.1 RF amps if you can spare the cash.

i would go with the jbl amps, but like bumpin said, if ya got the bucks to spare, then go with the rf, it would looks g0od having rf subs and amps....more astetically pleasing...but the jbl are a g0od choice either way....

...the maximum current draw of those amps (JBL 1200.1's) are 114 amps, x2 = 228 amps, no way a stock alternator can put up with the rigours of powering those 2 amps for very long,

You would want possibly a diff alternator depending on the vechicle some its harder to get much bigger alts for w/o paying out the ***. You will want to rewire your alternator to your bettery with 4 gauge, 0 is better especailly if you do get a high powered one. Then you will definitly want 0 gauge to the trunk, then a deep cycle battery or maybe 2. otherwsie 2 of them will destroy a mostly stock wire system.

I run one jbl 1200.1 and I have only a 65 amp output alternator but I use a deep cycle, its the only way to go if you wanna get the most power to your amps.

I will be running 1 1200.1 and 1 80.4 jbl amp, all the wiring is stock(bat, alt. etc...) and the alt is a different one, my other one just died on my one day leaving me in the middle of who the heck knows where...the newer one is 105 amp...

    will i be alright...
I will hopefully be changing the stock wire to 2 guage or lower....
    sound g0od?
