    Dayton Reference Subs

Has anyone heard the new Dayton Reference Subs. They look nice and have killer black aluminum cones(sorry tired of the raw aluminum look). Also they will be relesing Reference drivers in 4ohms soon I'm told unshielded and geared towards car audio

Haven't heard them.....but would love to. They look like absolutely killer deals.

Lower price point than the Titanic's though....I'd be interested if they surpassed them in SQ (lower displacement, doubt they'd have more output than the Titanics).

I thought they dropped that project? That's been about a year ago that Darren was supposed to have started that.

He was referring to the Dayton Reference speaker selection, not subwoofers.

Uh no. When he was referring to the "Reference drivers in 4ohm", he was referring to their speakers, which Dayton has been talking about releasing for close to a year.

Are these the ones without the back-plate that they've been talking about? The so-called ''elite'' versions?
