    10" Brahma+DEI 1100D+.8 sealed enclosure+ford explorer=(insert dB guesstimation here)

    mmm....138...probably not, im just guessin, put it this way, i have 4 12's in a thunderbird and im hittin 138, with a 3.5 cube box.



    Head unit: Alpine 9815
    Fronts: Alpine Type R components
    Rear: Alpine type R 2-way 6.5's
    Amp for front: JBL 80.4 bridged to front only
    Amp for rear: JBL 80.4 bridged to rear only

    Sealed? Maybe 138 outlaw. There are too many other factors that will affect the SPL. I've read of quite a few instances where 140+ is attainable with a single 12" Brahma in a 1 cubic foot box.




    Is this not a reasonable place to park?

    I'm guessing 138 max myself.
    a 10" sealed.. in a large cabin, with a flat playing sealed box.. it may sound a bit more impressive than the meter will say... you MAY break 135db... maybe (denotes using a decent reading meter)
