Whats better for rear stage...Component or 3 way speaker...

I there, I can't decide on what to put on my rear stage... I have an audiobahn 6.5 alum 120RMS component on the front stage, and I can't decide if I should go with the same component on the rear stage or go with a 3 way audiobahn 6.5 speaker 120rms and crossover...?

What would be the diference if I go with the speakers isntead of the component for the rear stage? They have the same RMS and the price is the same...

    THX in advance...

For SQ you shouldn't connect the rear stage to the same signal as the front----don't spend alot of money on the rears---- unless you just want to be loud

or just don't use any rears at all....when you sit at a concert where is music coming from??? front right....well there ya go....a good strong front stage with clean highs and midbass will make you wonder why you ever used rears....

That seems to be a good Idea, but what will happen to the guys that seat on the back seat? will they have a good sound from the mid-highs or just the woofer?

    THX again...

sorry if that was kinda quick, what i meant was you only need your front speakers for your listening. Don't worry about rear fill unless you care about your backseat friends. My suggestion is just leave the stock speakers in the rear and put the fade up in the front more so it can benefit you and your passengers a little. Otherwise, don't have rear fill at all!!!

THX for the advise, that's what I just got in mine also, using the factory speakers and conected to the HU instead of the amp, then turning the fade on th HU to the front channels...

So I should turn the fade as far up to the front stage until I hear good sound fill with out distortion?

Will turning the fade to the front channels affect the subwoofer performance or not?

    THX again...

distortion won't be a factor in the fade unless you have your volume all the way up. As far as the subwoofer goes, no, fade only affects the speakers inside if your controling it from the headunit.

i have stock speakers in my car and they sound great. i put the little fader knob in the middle so it also goes threw my front and the back. Anyways all pepople care about is how nice of bass you have in the car. unless its those hippies who listen to the lyrics.

I really don't like all bass systems-----guess i'm a wrong for wanting to hear the other 2/3 of the sound. ----as far ambience goes ------- you can't get any without some second timed source

WTF, who just cares about bass and doesn't like crystal clear mids and highs???lol man thats the funniest thing i have heard all week.....and yes stock rear speakers is also a good idea, just keep the fader to the front to keep the fronts more dominant...my rear seat passengers don't complain about anything, they say my kicks do a great job of providing highs to the rear of the car....

I know a lot people who just have bass in their system. you got to remember not every body is an audiophile like you. i know people whose system consists of just a amp subs and a cd player shoot 90% of the systems in my town are this. and i care about what my passengers hear. quit bieng so **** greedy abercrombie!! but i say just put a really sensitive pair of coaxtials for rear fill and let the hu power them and then put bass blockers in their signal path
