    pioneer ts-w306dvc or S12L7 L7 or type r

lol yes yes i know iv been making lots of these threads but i really want to find the absolute loudest + clearest sub i can for my money

    i can get the 1 12" l7 for around $140-150 shipped
    or 2 ts-w306dvc for about 130 shipped
or 1 alpine type r (new one) for like 130 shipped

my friend had some l7's but when he bumped them he would never turn them up high so what i thaught of them they were actually pretty ****** but i guess thats cus they wernt pushed hard ...

hey there people out there.ill get straight with the program.this subwoofer is the the best hitting subwoofer i have ever owned.this subwoofer won me the waiakea high school sound competition this past week.i hit 145.8 db with this sub.i got this in a custom box and it pounds the hell out me.i owned jl audio, rockford, kicker, viper, and lightining audio.you just have to hook this up to a 500 watt amp and you are set and ready to hit some mean db's.

    Kicker for SPL
    Alpine for SQL

the pioneers would be SPL but i dont know if they will be quite as loud as a single kicker, well i could be wrong thou

the Tsw306 is crap. The 304 and 305 are way better.

i would take the L7 for loudness and Spl or the Type R for Sq.
It's up to you and what u want to get out of your sub

    Re: pioneer ts-w306dvc or S12L7 L7

    yea i passed tru them.

    Had a 304
    changed to a 305
    was ok
got a 306 as soon as it was released
    very disappointing
now i'm back to my old TS-W304DVC

trust me the 306 has too much hype

Riad is right 305s are a lot better than 306s.

    I got 145.6db with 2 305s and a mtx 2300x.

    Great subs
