My vote goes to the Shiva. I dare anyone to find a better mix of SPL/SQ for $125 or under.

ive never personally heard the shiva but i have heard good things about them since these are SQ woofers primarily im goin to say the W6 ive heard both the perfect and the w6 andthe w6 just sounded cleaner both were in the same car but had different amps. i was very impressed by the w6 very clean and had some spl but not as much as some of the other subs made for that the infinity was also very clean but i just liked the way the w6 sounded personally since i havent heard the shiva i cant really give my opinion on it

    Kappa perfects!!!!! all the way!!!!!!

I owned them once, compared to MA audio, Type Rs, MTXs, and many others, these are BY FAR the bEST SQ/SPL subs for great prices.

I've seen two of them powered at 800rms work at 148 dB on a linear X

and yes, 800rms when they are rated at 350 rms 1400 max.

but I've seen them blow at 1200.

but they can be found at $200 new for two 12"s

with great bass comes great responsibilities.

**** shivas seem to be a good deal then.. But to that guy who said that infinities will work off 800 watts rms.. Well some of mine have also but not for very long! i swear using a mtx 81000d and perfects is like playing rush an roulette.. Every time you turn up the volume your stomach gets natious. Not because the bass is hitting so hard, its because your worried the mo fos are gunna blow. Every time i blow them its cus i have some dumb song without much bass come on and recorded at low volume.. then i forget to turn it down at the end of the song and some other song comes on with a really low hard hitting bass note and i start hearing loud knocking noises after that. It happened the other day and i reblew the sub i had fixed with crazy glue.. I havent checked yet but i dont think the crazy glue broke off i just think the voice coil is ****ed up now. Cus i cant pop the sub back in place like i could before.. They sound so great, until they blow.

personally i would take the infinity over the JL sub. . . but Shivas got my vote. . .

I think we all know here that Pyrmid pro's are the way to go though :p
