I think you are mistaken... i've never seen a streetable car (V-8) with 1300 HP.
i have seen a streetable I-6 with 1300 HP.. :p. The Jun supra, the jun Skyline, and the HKS Skyline... all have 1200-1300 HP...

You can easily make a V-8 have 1300 HP, but it is no longer streetable.

What about the Deisel I-4's in the greyhound busses... those things make way over 1000 HP. and they are daily drivers. But then again the pistons are the size of bar stools

Let's argue boy!!! Who has the best sub killing or glass breaking story here. Mine was one day in tha mall, some guy tapped on my window as i bumped (slightly compaired to most of u guys) and i asked to see his. he opened tha hatch glass on his 02' explorer and boom 6 15" BMF's aimed at the hatch glass. He shut it and with a rmote pressed play. now @ 2 i could feel and hear tha bass outside it about 7 feet away. He cranked tha volume. boom boom wen ttha bass as it got deeper he turned it up and suddenly the correct frwequency hit @ about a volume of 17 out of tha 35 his cd player could play, and glass blew all up all over tha place. Funniest look i ever seen was on that guys face. i laughed like a mofo.

You don't want to get into trucking with me...that is what I do for a living. Do you know why they don't make a streetable car with 1300 hp??? Most companies could do that ALL they want to, but they don't...you know why??? How many people do you know with Nissian Skylines??? Okay, now...how many do you know with Stangs, Camaros, and Firebirds. NOW, how many old Camaros, 'Stangs, and Firebirds do you see. A lot...you know why??? They last more than 100,000 miles...Hondas, well they just don't. The only imports that last forever are Yota trucks. Why would a 1300 hp V-8 have to be streetable??? We are not talking legal, cause racing is not legal anyway, so who cares if it is streetable. V-8s last longer, sound, better, and kick more ***...

Supra is easier to get 1K HP out of. Period.. bigger displacement. supra's are everywhere.. look on ebay. Download some Dyno's off from Kazaa, you can easily find a supra with 876 rwhp. That's about 1200 HP @ the crank.. lotsa lotsa hp.

They last more than 100,000 miles...Hondas, well they just don't.

Honda cars will go 200,000 miles Easy, as long as you properly maintain it, i know someone with a honda w/ 170K miles, and it still dusted an almost new Subaru 2.5 legacy. (non WRX, obviously)


We could argue all day about the import domestic Scene... But it's not really worth it, there are too many variables. I've argued about it so much it's not even fun anymore.

Yep, it is, supercharged 4.0 I just put in with headers, Twisters, about 330 hp...more than I need for that truck...It's all in the driver huh...I've been racing since I was 11...dirt bikes and go karts...15 in cars and trucks...

I just know how to drive a car well.. been behind the wheel since i was 2, no joke. ( i didn't do anything, It was on a beach, and tire trenches were so deep that the truck drove itself, plus it was an auto tranny, so it just crawled along).
I'm good w/ a stick. period. Give me a Supra, with maybe tires, and headers and exhaust. and it would take ur ranger. However nice it may be, but a supra is just insano fast (plus a 6 speed g-box. w/ lower ratios.)

and about the supras, yes they are nice ricers, but they are specifically made for racing and high output. and you pay for it too, you could spiff up a v8car, muscle car even, and smoke a supra for cheaper than it would cost you to buy a supra.(depending on who you buy it from.)

Yes, maybe a Supra could beet me, BUT it has not. I have spent over 40k on that truck...about 4.5k on the engine. NOW how much is a Supra??? My point exactly...I can take anyone. You think your good with a stick huh??? Try driving a 13 speed Peterbuilt. BTW, you might have to do a little double clutching...

I know how to drive a stick, I doubt anyone that is 16-18 can go through gears like an old man...

Ohhh.. i can def. work a stick..

and if you put 4.5 K into the engine, only.. you could prob. afford all the turbo timers, and an oil cooler, maybe a header.. but that is more than enough to take out a ranger with the same amount of money.. yes, it is expensive to beef up a Supra, but that is because all of the parts have to meet high performance expectations.. when you are running close to 20 lbs. of boost through an engine you have to have very well made, very EXPENSIVE parts in it.. that's the only drawback i can see to makin a supra faster than a V-8.

Your gonna have to proove it...the smallest amount I have seen a Supra for with 40-50k on it was 28k and yes I look, cause they are not bad...I'm not talking the 1920s Supras either
You can get a used 4.0 V6 Ranger for 8.5k with 40-50 thousand on it...
