    A bunch of new subs........

    Brahma Extreme - http://www.adireaudio.com/Merchant2/...uct_Code=BEX15

New Punch Power pics - http://www.termpro.com/cgi-bin/ubb/u...;f=40;t=007695

    New Shocker III's and Extream II's - http://www.shockeraudio.com/cgi-bin/...c;f=1;t=001252

Man, take a look at the new Shocker III's, they're user reconable for cheap! And look to be way easier to change than the RFL's. But does anyone have any info on the Brahma Extreme?? jlaine?

Is the extreme just a regular brahma beefed up? or is it a new driver with many of the same technologies? Also is that punch power woofer with the shocker motor (did they customize it or was it done for them or can u buy it like that :p) Also how are Shocker subs? (prob more on the SPL side but ne SQ?)

I don't know about you guys, but I think that the user reconable Shocker III's are a great idea. No more long waits for subs to come back.

ok i would love to know what the deal is with the new brahma extreme like the one guy asked is it the same woofer just beefier or what is the dif. that RF woofer looks cool but also kinda funky in the same way i read all the post's on that page and agree with many of the statements made there but oh well. that new shocker woofer looks very cool indeed i must agree to that. i think i might start a post asking jlaine or maybe jtz62 should start one asking jlaine about that woofer.

"The Brahma Extreme. 56mm of one-way Xmag, 33mm of Xsus. We built our own BL measurement device to measure this unit; nothing on the market could measure it. Twice the power handling of a stock Brahma (3200W RMS/9600W peak), 40% more BL. Built for simply monster SPL. This thing is the ultimate high-excursion driver. Allow 8 weeks for delivery of this hand-built monster"

Although hand made, $2000 dollars for a subwoofer with only a 6mm gain in xmax? I don't know if the $1600 dollar increase is warranted.

Is this not a reasonable place to park?

its more than meets the eye.. this woofer will not excite anyone, except true SPL'ers, with a background in speaker design, and performance.. that's all I'll say lol
