Ive got a 12" HE2 and i want more spl and i kno porting the box would do it but im not sure how to go about doing that. If ne one could give me a clue as to how to do it, it would help me out a lot.

More than likely, you don't want to port your existing sealed box. It probably won't be big enough. What are the dimensions of your box now?

first off HE2's love small sealed enclosure's hate large ported. it won't get that much louder like some subs in fact most subs will going from sealed to ported and it will go from decent SQ to nasty audiobahn sq. i've tried porting HE2's before they like small sealed, the HX2 line will work fine in ported though.

no problem. i'm sure other's will disagree with my opinion on the HE2 line of RF subs but i work at best buy and have done multiple install's with those subs ranging from sealed, to bandpass box's to custom built box's and they sound and perform the best in sealed.
