difference between 10's and 12's
How much of a difference would there be in loundess if I ran 2 10" Type S's over 2 12" Type S's? I know the 12's would be louder because there is more air moving, but would they be a lot louder? I am sure I could boom pretty good with 2 10" Type S's though. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

There is a noticable difference in SPL. A 10 just basically dont have the surface area to move as much air as the 12. In SQ the bass is probally a little tighter in a 10" sub and slightly more accurate, but on that particular sub i dont think you will here any significant difference between the 10 and the 12.
I personally prefer the Type R's over the type S. At Ike-sound.com you can grab up a 10" Type R for 110
