American Bass XFL1522 Review
American Bass XFL1522:
Out of the box: Nice beefy looking subs. Nice and strong push terminals. Overall looks are excellent.
Sound: Not really sure yet. Left my gains where they were for the 8's just for break-in. And I can say its taking everything I can throw at it. And barely moving. So I am gonna put it thru a week or two break in and then time to set the gains again. This is when I wish I had an o-scope or DD-1 available.
Its definitely hits the lows ALOT cleaner than I expected in this box. 3.44cu.ft before displacement tuned to 35hz. Overall, somewhat happy. We will see once the break-in is done and I reset the gains.

Buy my 12 bro! It was only used for like a week and a half or 2 weeks on 300rms. Shipped in original packaging/box.

Okay.......figured break in was almost done so I decided to turn it up a lil.
First: I pulled the box back out and decided to turn the sub to the rear. Had it firing forward.
Second: Remounted my Soundstream Rubicon 2500.1 to the back of the enclosure
Third: Readjusted the gains.
Played a few different tracks and was very well pleased. When I was pulling 143.7 with the Obsidian 15 I was getting substantial flex. But no steering wheel flex. I am now get a **** ton of flex. To where my mirror is making odd noises (lol) like it wants to come off the windshield. And actually getting steering wheel flex. Not sure how much of a gain on a termlab I will see but I can say it seems louder. Hell I will be happy if I pull a 145. So we will see this summer.
