Review of Subwoofer or Speaker:

OK yes I'm a new used but I've been on SMDforums for almost 3 years now... Anyways I bought a PSI 18" Platform 1 off of Dave for $400 shipped it was supposed to have:

Interweaved Tinsels in the spiders
3 Spiders
1600RMS daily.

I ran this thing off maybe 1200RMS off an AP1500.1D amp never got warm but sub was hot as hell, so I said eff it and blew the **** thing to see what was up. The tinsels were NOT interwoven and it only had 2 spiders and it turns out the magnet size was all wrong for 1600w and is now advertised on his site as a 750rms subwoofer, so he sold me a 750rms subwoofer that was gimped for top price turned around and said it was MY fault.

Well I ran 2 DC 15's that handle 600rms a piece off that same amp off the WHOLE 1500rms WITH voltage drop and the subs don't even get warm where as the 18" was too hot to touch, I'm looking for my PDF for what the subwoofer was supposed to have and im going to take picture of the subwoofer. BTW I was banned from SMD forums after 3 years for making a topic like this, this is HOW pissed I am because I fought it this hard only ot be banned. Just be cautious PSI is starting to get cheap with all this buisiness flow. Also another Local friend who bought an 18" off him that was a platform 2 (2000rms daily) only took about 1200rms off his ap1500 before it got really hot he traded his for 2 AA Havoks and never got hot again, im starting to see a trend, Daves subs BARELY do rated if at all i'd be better off buying a **** CVR 18".

Also i didn make an account to rant, I actually heard this was a better site so I plan on being a regular, just hoping none of you are on Daves nuts like at SMD.

yea psi ***** for sure. he builds crap subs and crap recones. they dont handle rated power at all

i wanna see pics of the woofer please. havent heard much like this from PSI but in all honesty it wouldnt surprise me that people are getting cheap. not saying PSI directly, just in general. if interested hit up SPLaudio on here, he can rebuild it for ya just how ya want it, if dave doesnt cover it

Yeah man I'm making all of this up, he sold me this when he first started I was one of his like first 100 buyers and he does this... I dont know how he is NOW but I got shafted and NOTHING happened about it, now I HAVE to pay for DC to fix his mestake, thanks a ton dave from PSI!

I would but im so happy with my DC's I've decided to stick with them I don't want anymore people custom building my woofers, I took a chance with PSI and he blew it for me and everyone. Literally.
