Your about as dumb as they come. your sub didnt blow because it had one less spider. Technically you didnt blow it you burned/snapped a lead. which was caused by you clipping. Those leads that are tied down to the spider dont slap. what you thought you heard was you playing below tuning. i dont think i need to keep going but i will. you noticed your sub was not as ordered when you first got it. but u used it anyways they cryed later. vendors make mistakes, he forgot a spider **** happens. but everything your claiming is your fault

I bought a 12" xplode from wall mart and wal socketted it. They refused to recone. I thought since I got it from wall mart it was made for the wall socket. They said by my logic it behaved properly because it exploded. Someone HELP. Wall Mart is teh scammerz!!!

Just for reference the invoice says "single leads, sewn" -- which is what you have. PSI does not and has not ever woven leads into or between the spiders.

As far as the spiders it looks like you got an upgrade... the invoice calls for 8" spiders and you have 9.25" spiders -- if they are stiffer than the 8" soft spiders then two would equal the compliance of three of the 8" soft units. This would be an upgrade from what you paid for.

As for the Platforms... Dave changed the line around. The old Platform-1 is now the Platform-2 and the P2 moved up to P3. The new P1 is a new model and smaller and has not always been offered. Not sure when you purchased but that could be the confusion you are having.

Anyway -- sorry you weren't happy with your purchase.

You were here to know all of that right? There was slap the minute I put it in the box I made 4 different boxes for it, it did it on all of them, why am I even arguing with you? You're such a blatent fanboy, a tool at that. The coil and lead had ZERO burn marks it was all from Design error not user error, even Dave said himself the lead could have snapped from his design but I wasnt about to spend $75-80 to ship it there and then back, id rather just cut my losses and recone it. I'll tell you what happened I tuned it, built the box and put it in check everything first, played it and it started to slap then dave mentioned putting padding on the cone to stop it, before I got around to do that the coil read 0. Now the subwoofer was getting extremely hot before that anyways, bottom line I was sold a subwoofer that would do 750rms daily that should have cost me $300 or less, INSTEAD I paid $400 for a subwoofer that I was lied to about, like I said MANY times theres a REASON platform 1's are now rated less and before they were rated 1500 BECAUSE dave realized HE FUCKED UP, I'm sure when he first started he was trying to establish his buisiness and make money so now he probably puts more work into them, but when he started he had TONS of complaints if you'd like I'll link my friend here that had the SAME problem.
