Well I must say I was surprised at first, then I remembered the DD on the cone. Sub is getting about 320 watts froma a little Db Drive amp and is in 2.1 cubes tuned to 36hz. I wasnt sure this was going to be enough in the trunk of my girls 06 Chrysler 300 tank, but I was pleasantly surprised. Plays low and hits pretty hard considering wattage its getting, on all music from Jeezy to Aerosmith. It gets pretty loud as well, especially for a single 12 setup that cost about 200 for amp and sub. I must say the SQ is nice as well, it keeps up with all of her Emo music quite well and I was really impressed when we listened to the Killers. All in all it is maybe the best 100 dollar sub I have heard.
