    12" TC Sounds / Audiomobile MASS 2012 D4

    Item(s) for Sale:

    D4 Audiomobile MASS 2012 Underhung beauty/beast!

    Item(s) Description/Condition:

Used. Has exchanged hands a few times so it has marks and oxidization that were beyond my control, but it was NOT abused. Spiders are still lovely. I wish it were new but it still presents well. Operation is flawless and stunning. It still serves as one of THE drivers to use as a reference for what a subwoofer is supposed to sound like. Efficient and powerful. Sealed is the normal application but don't be afraid to use it in a vented application, tuned low. Murders the lows, as they say. Frightening on occasion. I'm moving soon so I need to cut down on the size of this collection.

    Fs: 23.6 Hz
    Qms: 6.13
    Qes: 0.43
    Qts: 0.40
    Vas: 2.8 cubic feet
    Re: 1.58 ohms
    BL: 19.8
    Le: .50 mh
    Xmax: 20 mm
Sensitivity: 89.6 dB (with 1-watt input measured at 1 meter)

    Price:

    $275 shipped, CONUS.

    Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

    CONUS only, please.

    Item Pictures:

It's the driver on the right, the other is already sold.

No. In the end, the answer is, always has been, and can only be... heat kills speakers. BUT, clipping increases heat generation, sometimes by a drastic amount. So to start a thread simply to state that clipping does not hurt speakers is, again, a half-truth at best.

    10% off

Need to make an important purchase, so carve 10% off for an indefinite period.
