    I know most here are more interested in SPL than SQ, but this is a really well built very nice subwoofer. If space is a constraint this gives you the capability of an enclosure about the size of an 8" or 10"

    From what I remember between 4-600 is fine. Obviously it will take a little more power in the smaller enclosure.

    This is more of a straight SQ sub. It is designed for really small enclosures. I haven't really listened to a W6 since the cones were black with the white JL lettering on the dust cap, so I really couldn't answer that question. Having said that, I don't think this sub would get as loud as the JL.
