They are full carbon fiber cones. Hold a light up to front of the sub and look at it from the back side. You can see thru the cone where the fibers are weaved together. I installed 2 of these on 2 p3000.1 amps back in like 2006. They got loud that's for sure. Never metered the system but it was loud. Motors are similar to some very well known motors

I have one of these baby's too. I don't think i can ever sell it.
However, i do have a 15" recone that is the full carbon fiber quad 1 ohm setup. just bolts right in. Incase anyone wanted a spare to go with this.

really nice sub there its in the same condition as my two dmx's 15". wouldnt sell mine's i see it more as a sq sub then anything.
@SILVERCOOCKIE how much would you sell me the carbon fiber drop in?? wouldnt mind having an extra drop in recone.
