    what's pro/con of having the sub rest on the top plane like that?

    It will leave out on Monday.....I can drop it off tomorrow at the local shipping outlet but Fedex only picks up through the week....

    Are you talking about it being countersunk?...it's done for looks but it does add some strength to the enclosure as well.......Sometimes on the really big subs you need to use double layer but not recess it...allow it to be supported by both pieces.......As far as the sub just being on top as opposed to facing back that depends on the vehicle it is going in and the size of the sub...

    yeah, i was talking about that. is it just a matter of how big of an opening can fit on a certain side?

    Hey Double, would you please give the dimensions on this box? I want the same thing for the same sub but need to make sure it fits in back. Also, read you said that in January you will be having a special?
