CDT or Diamond?

I've heard a lot of good things about both Diamond and CDT comp sets and now I'm torn between them. I'm looking for a 6.5" set (that will go into custom kicks) that has some nice, snappy midbass and tweets that won't get too harsh (probally a silk dome) or distort at higher volumes. I'm trying to keep the price under $200, not including the amp, so if anyone has any input I'd appreciate it. I'm also open to suggestions if you think of something else that fits the bill.

both are excellent
I love my Hex's,feed them 200x2 and they are clean and loud
however the new D9 speakers are starting to hit the streets
and from what I hear they are definatly worth looking into
they are 7" drivers and are beasts - expect to pay big smack though

well,I guess for 200 you have to try to grab the best sound for your buck
no Message board is gonna offer enough info to make a decision so
you have to go with what makes you feel in your gut
Personally I think you wont go wrong with either comp
I do like the Cust service DA offers,last week they repaired my tweeter - no charge,no recepts,no hassles - thats good service,and why my whole system is DA now

Honestly, I really didn't like their sound for what they cost. $1300 is a lot for speakers that IMO maybe match up to CDT HD's.
