Go for it, they will sound pretty good, runing off of your factory HU.

6x9's = distortion

You'd be much better off getting an adapter and a 6.5 inch set of speakers.

Anything played at a loud volume = distortion, but if you are sensible about it, there should be no reason for it. IMO
