Re: such thing as alpine type z speaker?

Well the subwoofer models come in the following, and are pretty much the same for the other components/speakers

    Type E, Type S, Type R, Type X

E being the lowest, X being the highest.

    Never heard of "Type Z"

Only speakers that handle that much power and have z in the name, that I can think of, are the boston z6's.

Re: such thing as alpine type z speaker?

I can't remember what letter it was, but in the best buy add the week before easter I noticed they had some alpine subs and was amazed, when looking closely I noticed it appeared to be a series I had never heard of. Not X,S,R and so on.. I wanna say it was a Z, I was curious but because they were at best buy I just assumed they were a lower end sub.

    **edit**

I just looked them up and they were type 'E' - my bad
