u did a fricken good fricken job man! im too fricken scared to cut the fricken door cuz i cant fricken fix it my-fricken-self if i frick it up.
it's pretty easy if u have a stencil. i did my holes with a box cutter. i kinda went around the inside of the circle on the stencil cutting straight 1/2 inch lines; ended up making an octagon-like shape, but my sweet fit right in.Originally Posted by JAZN

my car had no stock tweets (300zx). guess they didn't like tweeters in 1990. all i cut into was the vinal covered door cover. the door cover from the backside (inside; what u don't see) seemed like it was bade of some kinda compressed wood fiber or somthin, but the box cutter cut through it too. from the inside of my door u see the back of the tweeter with the wires runnin from it. no metal cuttin was involved. u could always find another spot to cut and put tweeters where metal is not an issue, unless your doors are that different from mine.
