ID Chameleons vs. RE XXX Comp Sets

Pros and Cons of each?

Pricing is somewhat similar.

Both can run at 2ohm.

Just wanting input from all of you out there. Let me know what all of you think. I have heard great things about both sets.

AFAIK there currently is no RE XXX comp set....just mids and mids alone.

i know there's no "official" RE XXX comp set, but then i guess im asking for a comparison between ID and RE mids, ID and RE tweets, and ID and RE crossovers....

well since i already have a 5.25" ID Chameleon set im gonna stay with ID. I'd be interested to hear the XXX "comp set" though. Too bad no one around here even seems to know who RE is or what they do...

FYI, you can't use the crossovers from the RE RE set with the XXX mids. If you are looking at the XXX mids, then you need to find some good DIY tweets and an active xover (which means you'd need atleast 4 channels of amplification).

you really can't compare these 2 sets as wholes, since only the mids for the xxx set is out, you could compare just the mids....but what fun is that
