Im not sure about anything with a higher rms than that. Maybe some CDTs but I dont think they would be 6X9s anymore. Maybe some 6.5s. But JBL doesnt overrate their products and 150 is plenty

I actually have a set of those for sale that i was going to use instead of a sub but before i even hooked them up i changed my mind.....

A friend of mine over on Soundillusions.net who use to design subs for ED uses these in his daily driver and said he feeds them 150 watts and he can't make them distort and said they get insanely loud......he also said that they have awesome bass responce....said they will play all the way down to 35hz easily.....

They have never been powered up....just takn out of the box to look at......

I believe these are the Bently of 6x9's.....i will sell them for $130 shipped

    Re: 6x9 200w RMS Speakers

    Yea they are brand new......

They aren't 200 watts RMS but they are 150.....sending 200 watts to a pair of 6x9's is insane......

What amp you using to power these Spininstang?

    Re: 6x9 200w RMS Speakers

Heres the problem, im gonna mount an 800.4 for rear fill however I only have room for two 6x9s and i dont want to waste 2 channels, thats gay. So bridged at 4 ohms x2 its 200w rms. I need something that can handle that much power.

someone tell me if i am wrong but unless you find DVC 6x9's you aren't going to be feeding thos 6x9's 200 watts but actually 400 watts...

So what is powering your front speakers?.....why not use the front channels of the 800.4 to power the fronts too.....

And this is not because i am selling some awesome 6x9's but.......it is not gay not to use the front channels, it is less strain on your electrical system and all....all that is doing is making it hard on you to find a pair or 6x9's that handle that much power....i have never seen it

My front door speakers are 4 rockford fosage 4 inchers, powered by the LCD/DVD Kenwood 815 amp. They cant take more than 60w rms, and i just temporarly put the speakers in there because the door panels are near imposible to work with due to their depth, and im going to wait until I can find a good shop before i do anything with them.

Your right. Besides those cheap *** audiobahns ( i knew they were garbage ) i havnt found any either. I will buy your set off you, please AIM me at SpinninStang and we can set it up. Thank you for your advice

I've got a set of CDT 6X9's for sale with crossovers and all hardware for $120 shipped. They are brand new in wrappers.

They are only rated at 100rms and 200peak.

    Let me know,
