Speakers for my ext cab s10

I have the CDT cl61a right now in my doors, and i'm going to fiberglass something for my tweeters once I get the resin. But, I disconnected my rear speakers and I dont like the way it sounds, so I hooked them back up. Anyways, I was thinking of mounting something like a 5'' soft dome speaker behind my head in the corner or maybe a 2'' tweeter above the seatbelt to get some better sound. What would you guys suggest I do?

i think the CL-5X's have an adjustable tweeter.
    Those would complement your CL-61's

You may not have liked it simply because you weren't used to the way it sounded. Try driving around with them disconnected for a week or two and see how you feel then.
