oh the problems of owning a jeep

i have a 95 jeep wrangler (yes the one with the pain in the arse dash ) has anyone ever fit anything besides a 4x6 or 4" inside the dash. i was looking at putting CDT eurosports 3 way (es-643 i believe) mounting the 4" inside the dash, having the midbass near the floor using this thing ,http://www.quadratec.com/cgi-bin/sg...NM=00&x=56&y=46 and the tweeter up higher near the 4".

the more i read here the more i see that having the tweeter far from the midbass isnt a great idea. so i was thinking if i would be able fit a 5.25 in the dash i could have the tweeter nearby and hopefully have it sound pretty good. a soundstream van gogh 800.2 (200 watts x 2) will be powering them.
    and info would be great..thanks

That "tweeter by the mid" rule is more just a general suggestion. Especially in a 3-way.....you'd want the tweet closer to the midrange than the midbass. Only way to tell for sure whether you like how it sounds is to try it.
