    Gettin 4" and 3 1/2" Infinity Kappas

I got an old '84 Mercedes Benz 300DT and the dash speakers are 3 1/2" and the rear speakers are 4". I don't want to go bigger because i dont want to ruin the interior of the car and I'm pretty set on infinity kappas. I think im getting a pretty good deal too. The 4" for $57 and the 3 1/2" $41 both not including shipping. Does anyone know if there are any better speakers out there for the same price?

It would be great if anyone could help out!!

Kappas are nice.... all i have to say is... your gonna have no bass at all in that car. Maybe you should look into a single sub with low wattage....

You'll probably have to cross the sub over pretty high since you'll be lacking in midbass output.

i had the same problem i had 3.5's in the front, so im opting to make some kick panels with 5.25 because i really DONT get any midbass - cept from my crappy 6.9's and im getting 5.25\6.5 CDTs in my car.

I've had Kappa 3.5's in my dash and found them to be too bright in the highs. Switched to Boston's and I'm much happier. I also have to say that Boston makes the best 4" coaxials on earth, bar none. Not for that price tho...

Re: Gettin 4" and 3 1/2" Infinity Kappas

I dunno about the tweets in front... im kinda new to this kind of thing. Are tweeters gonna have the same SQ as the 3.5's?

OH and about the bass blockers, what kind should i get for the speakers i am planning on ordering? Im don't really know much about the the hz and ohms and stuff.

    Thanks for your Help
