Sorry for being such a post wh0re lately, i'm just realy seriously in the market for new speaks

anyone have experience with the image dynamic comps? not the chamelon, the hlcd. how much do they run?

Are you getting the actual HLCD comp system (horn + mid + passive) or just the horn?

For ID, pricematch the price from www.carmedia1.com to www.sounddomain.com, that way you are getting them super cheap, but still authorized from souddomain. http://www.cardomain.com/shopbrand/Image+Dynamics is where to find them on SD

Anyways, you will not be disappointed with horns The install is a *****, but well worth it. Oh, and you will seriously want to consider atleast a good parametric or 13+band graphic with horns. It isn't absolutely necessary to have an EQ with horns, but it will definitely improve their sound a lot (most horns sound pretty harsh w/o an EQ)

yeah ive heard the install discouracges easily, but the results are worth it. who has horns here? doesn't steve have some? or is that denim?
