i was just wondering what peoples thoughts were on the alpine components?
and i thought the R's were better than the S's right?

well i got the type r components for $50 bucks on ebay the guy was selling them as "S" but when you looked at the model number they were SPR-135a which if i was right the R means type R.
so is that a good price?
the type S 6X9 i have sounded great as long as you dont give them the bass.... ick
i mean the highs were clear and the mid were pretty good.....

with my amps how would you set the system up?
i would have liked to have the sony push the subs but to get the most power i run them bridged in a 2 ohm load. my jensen is stable with bridged 2 ohm load. so what i was thinking was the components and the subs off the jensen while running the 6x9 of the sony.
now heres another question this will be my first working with components. the alpines have an inline crossover so i dont need a separate amp for the tweets right?

i have a pair of type R 6x9's and they are great but i have the bass pretty high so that my sub will run high. But does anyone know how i can lower the bass on the 6x9's without lowering the sub volume. I have a CDA-7892 HU.
